For the first official APLN London meeting we are lucky enough to have Mike Cohn as special guest.
The meeting will be kindly hosted by ThoughtWorks UK Tuesday 26th September at its Holborn office from 7pm:
Agile Planning and Tracking
Planning is important even for projects using agile processes. Unfortunately, we've all seen so many worthless plans that we'd like to throw planning out altogether. The good news is that it is possible to create a project plan that looks forward six to nine months that can be accurate and useful.
Our guest
Mike Cohn, among many other things, is the author of User Stories Applied for Agile Software Development and Agile Estimating and Planning, as well as books on Java and C++ programming. With more than 20 years of experience, Mike has previously been a technology executive in companies of various sizes, from startup to Fortune 40. A frequent magazine contributor and conference speaker, Mike is a founding member of the Agile Alliance and a founding member of the APLN.
